Chi siamo

INCOSE Italia è il nome del Capitolo italiano dell' "International Council on Systems Engineering" (http://www.incose.org/).
L’attenzione al “systems engineering” è andata rapidamente crescendo in Italia negli ultimi anni, sia nel settore privato che in quello pubblico.
L’industria dell’aerospazio e della difesa, che ha una lunga tradizione in Italia, è particolarmente interessata al “systems engineering”. La crescente complessità dei sistemi, la rapida evoluzione delle tecnologie e le sfide della net-centricità e dei “sistemi di sistemi” richiedono un approccio olistico e metodologicamente strutturato.
Anche industrie ed aziende fornitrici di servizi in ambito civile sentono la necessità di un approccio sistematico al progetto architetturale ed allo sviluppo di sistemi futuri.
Il Capitolo italiano è stato molto attivo negli ultimi quattro anni, organizzando seminari e corsi introduttivi su numerosi temi: la gestione dei requisiti, il “systems architecting”, gli “architectural frameworks”, il SysML, la sicurezza dei sistemi ed altri.
Inoltre, abbiamo stabilito buone relazioni con istituzioni accademiche, che hanno permesso l’organizzazione di corsi sul “systems engineering” nell’ambito dei programmi di Master post-universitari.

Talk by Robert Halligan Project Performance International

Talk Topic: A Systems Approach to Love, Life and BusinessRobert will illustrate the application of systems thinking and systems engineering within a journey through life. Part of his presentation will be based on a real case, the outcomes of which he will discuss.

About the Presenter: Robert HalliganRobert Halligan is known internationally for his role in the practice and improvement of engineering projects. After early engineering, engineering management and project management roles within major public and private sector organisations, Robert has, for the last twenty-two years, contributed to major systems projects worldwide as a consultant and trainer.
Robert lead the development and delivery of the Masters module "Managing Engineering Projects" for the Australian Graduate School of Engineering Innovation, a joint venture between two Australian Universities. Robert is a Past President of the Systems Engineering Society of Australia. He was an Australian delegate to the ISO WG7 developing the international system life cycle processes standard, ISO/IEC 12258, and for three years lead the delegation of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) to ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7 on software and systems engineering. Robert was a key reviewer of EIA 632 and EIA 731.
He was a contributor of content to EIA/IS 632 and its successor in the area of requirements quality, and to IEEE 1220 in the area of functional analysis.
Robert has served as Director (International) of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). He is an INCOSE Ambassador, and an Honorary Member of the Korean Council on Systems Engineering.
